  1. This was a great list. A lot of titles I don't know.My additions would be Galaga 88 and Time Pilot 84.

  2. What’s the best stand up arcade emulator with these 150 games .. Like you said I’ve seen some other things but I’m not interested in having 7000 70,000 4000 games

  3. Algunas adiciones a tu lista:WindjamersStreethoopPrehistoric islePuzzle bobbleSnow brosTumble popHattrick hero

  4. Short answer:. Final burn neo is fun. Long answer:. Cps1 cps2 cps3 neogeo is what is fun.

  5. Thanks for this, it's the same approach i have always kept, just cherry pick the games we played as kids , 1985 was good year for arcade games

  6. That was a long ass ad at first. I thoght it was a movie. I forget about Gyruss and Shoot out. those were great thanks for the memory trip

  7. I am pretty sure I played every game you showed. Except beezer lol!

  8. Missing WWF Superstars and The Real Ghostbusters. Great list though.

  9. Fantastic List. My favourite T.N.K III isn't there 🙂

  10. Remember when we were going to make a list of the best 100 arcade games at CCC and Stew lost his mind? I cannot remember what game or games didn’t make it that caused it.

  11. This is a big issue I also have: I love the idea of having 5,000+ ROMs on my modded Playstation Classic. However.. I bloody hate sorting through all the games and making playlists. Even though I've downloaded several solid/complete ROM-sets, I still find myself itching to tweak each playlist to my liking — boxarts included. I've gone back and forth several times between a "best-of" playlist for each system, and just lobbing full sets of ROMs into the damn thing and calling it good. Seeing so many crappy games, Barbie games, useless kids' stuff, untranslated Japanese titles that I could patch, or download an English-patched version of, but.. Ugh. It's a literal headache. Yeah.. Not to mention setting up boxarts for all of the games, as well. My God, I've lost hours to this stuff. I recently download boxart sets for each of my main systems, totalling well over a gigabyte in size, and there's about 10 missing for every 100 games I have. Seeing an empty space among so many boxart thumbnails is an eyesore. The idea of fixing it and downloading individual boxarts is another headache I don't want.. Or need. I think I'll make a "best-of" build, and just keep the extra ROMs on the USB stick for future reference 👍🏻

  12. I always loved the look of vector games. Do you know if they still make those screens? I'd be interested in making a dedicated vector machine.

  13. Hope this saves someone time typing them all out:

  14. Forget killer instinct 1 & 2? They are The reason i play mame.

  15. Zaxxon! I have yet to find that one with sound.

  16. Just want to say thanks for having Hat Trick on the list. I have watched countless top mame list video's on YouTube and yours is the first I've seen to include it. Very underrated game. I'm one of those people that has 1000's of arcade games and after years I'm sick of scrolling through all the filler so thanks for the list.

  17. MAN! Sea Figther Poseidon and Phoenix !!!

  18. I'm new to all this and would like to know what i need exactly to be able to play all the games on this list. Some games I've searched for do not look original for example..DigDug Ms Pacman or Galaga. Could really use ur help..Thanks!!

  19. Check your audio levels. We shouldn't have to turn up your voice and turn down your audio effects.

  20. KILL ME
I bought a REV 1/A iMAC in order to play Ghosts and Goblins…. PAC MAN, RAIDERS (that got complex) etc…

BUT, after I filled up my drive ETC and ON AND ON AND ON

I just want to play MEGA FORCE / SPACE FORCE ..or whatever it was.. but I DO like to want to play that NASTY FLAK ATTACK!

  21. The Majority of GAMES were lovely but, the later MAME APPs stopped being able to run these ROMS..
    720 BIG ISSUE
    STAR WARS
    BIG ISSUE
    MARBLE MADNESS !??!
    BiG ISSUE
    OUT RUN
    Moderate issue..

    WHAT is your ADVICE?!?!

  22. Suddenly the easiest way is to pay $50 PLUS PLUS PLUS to XBOX and then.. (I changed to a PS system) I have to BUY THEM ALL AGAIN from SONY!??!?!

    I … I .. JUST CANNOT COMPUTE!!

  23. SO… HOW does this Video assist ANYBODY?
    AT ALL?

  24. Great list. I've been trying to get a good working arcade version of Joust. Every ROM I get stops at a 'passed system check' type dialog and is un-playable. I think it wants a button pressed that I don't have mapped on my controller. I've also been trying to find the 3 player version of Rampage but all the MAME ROMs seem to be a Nintendo or SEGA version. Thanks for reminding me about Rolling Thunder… I NEED that. 🙂

  25. There's probably only like less than a thousand mame games that really matters and mostly are just bad or repeated games that just bloats your storage.

  26. Two or three Asteroids, but no Astyanax? No Rastan or Krull?! :'(

  27. So Double Dragon and Double Dragon 2 are reversed….

  28. problem I see is, 4 way joystick games, 8 way, and diagonal joy stick games, spinner games… ext… you must have a franken panel for all games listed, watched some more of video. now we have track ball games, light gun games , 2 way joy stick games, 10 min in video . were looking at 7 different cabs. no. you can not play pac man or mspac man on 8 way joystick…. it sucks. now steering wheel and yokes, were at 10 cabs now…

  29. Excellent List – we seem to be about the same age and like the same era games (I just hit 50 last month). I also appreciate how you pointed out how some of the original 80's Arcade games just don't work with your typical "MAME Machine" button-Joystick config. Most of my favorite games I'd like to build require special joysticks, Duel Joysticks, or controls that simply don't exist anywhere (yet – although they FINALLY have a Star Wars Yoke available) My favs that require special controls are – Spy Hunter,(so far impossible) Paperboy (also impossible, but I've seen one guy use the SW Yoke) , Battlezone (not on your list – shame!) Missile Command, and the real muther – Discs of Tron…sigh…Anyway – love the vid. Got yourself another subscriber. Game On my dude!

  30. Your list is awesome bro!.. This brings me back to my childhood thank you for this video. And in my opinion the only games that where missing from the list was Bucky O'Hara's, Battletoads and Michael Jackson's Moon walker but other then that this list is 💯

  31. There is a arcade game from 1985 or 1986 ,
I don’t know the name….in the beginning of the game there’s two identical monsters or something on either side of the screen,
It gets harder of course as it goes on.

    Does it sound familiar?? ,
I’m trying to find this game.

P.S. I remember the monsters in the beginning of the game were like purple or dark blue.

  32. I can agree with you in some way…but if it wasn’t for the few thousand MAME games on my Raspberry pi (at first) and now my Hyperspin,i wouldn’t of found some of the games i now have in my “top 10” lists.
The Combatribes & Tube Panic being two that i found and now play regularly..oh and one me and my family play is Fishin’ Frenzy (not feeding frenzy).
I have however bought a new SD Card for my Raspberry pi and dedicated it to just the family’s favourite arcade games…it was done mainly for my grand daughters who are young,so they could just get to their favourites ASAP

  33. Either I missed it or there wasn't Moonwalker, Knights of the Round and Cadillacs and dinosaurs.

  34. I think reminiscing about all these old games is actually better than playing them – *Stops all torrents, cancels arcade cab build 😛

  35. Ok now compile the 150+ roms into 1 download so I can have them all at once lol
