  1. I hope this year's theme is something really wacky, like "you don't see me" or "I love you" or "text only".

  2. That last game was super satisfying to watch.

  3. I saw Two Timin Towers on Cool Math Games a few days ago, so if anyone wants to play it, check it out! 🙂

  4. Wow! These games look amazing. The levels of polish are honestly unbelievable considering the time available. Can't wait to play some of 'em!

8:43 is hilarious. "Mind my personal space!"

  5. Hellfiler kinda remined me of calm down Stalin

  6. Please release full versions of these everyone! They all looked more fun than most 3D games

  7. How cool would it be if every one of the top 20 devs polished up their games / added more levels and Mark published a purchasable bundle of the deluxe versions of the top 20? It might take some time logistically to set up royalties and stuff, but I bet it would greatly encourage the winners to build out their game in full and it would do wonders for them in their commercial endeavors.. not to mention all of us players would be ecstatic to buy the bundle.

  8. I wish there a creator create a game maker on mobile that you can publish on the playstore

  9. Cleaning the System could EASILY be a great mobile game. Left and right spins would be holding left or right on your screen. I would love to play it on mobile if the devs ever thought about it.

  10. Isn't it kinda weird that we drink chemicals for fun??

  11. How come game jam games typically don’t have very nice art style? I am asking genuinely as a animator/designer with zero game dev experience. Would it really take that much longer to use nicer models?

  12. I don’t really understand how “one last game” fits the theme of out of control, good game nevertheless though.

  13. Dude those people who made those game.damn so much creativity blew my mind

  14. I think the best part of these game jams are just playing hours of these amazing games on one webpage. Amazing!

  15. 11:10 why does that thing look sus 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

  16. I have been binging these vids lately and thought what is preventing a dev from submitting an already polished game that they have been working on before the game jam? Just curious.

  17. It's The 1 Year Anniversary of the game jam woo!!!!

  18. oh im definitely taking part in this next year, im making a game as a school project so hopefully ill be able to get to grips with game maker in time

  19. Has anyone noticed that Sam Hogan literally lost control of cell machine? People always add mods and texture packs.

  20. I think hellfiler is actually a really fun game to play. i see how you oculd get addicted to it. i wouldn't mind an endless mode though.

  21. This time i am actually sad that Sam Hogan didn't made it to top 20

  22. All of those games seem something that would go candy crush level of virtual crack.

  23. mark brown: you need to click control c and control v

  24. I'd love to see at least one game jam with a topic like "dragons", "love" or "adventure" to really allow developers unfettered creative opportunity.
Main themes like "out of control", "it's a lie" or "just one" are great at challenging creators to smartly conform with the topic but I feel like in a lot of instances are really restrictive.
It would be great to see at least one really open topic for a change 🙂

Still – the submissions here are really great! Chapeau bas to everyone who participated 🙂

  25. I don’t know how to code, can you do a series how to code

  26. Should've mentioned Cell machine… Me and the boys from Sam Hogan to na give ya a beaten

  27. Nobody talking about learning to focus and use that sweet British accent?
