I took some kids to the arcade to play the ancient Pong arcade video game from the 1970s. It’s still only a quarter to play. Watch this video and see what these kids today think of the original arcade game.Pong is a video game from the 1970s, in which you use paddles to bounce a ball back and forth, trying to get the ball past the other guy’s paddle to score a point.

  7. had these kids realy never played pong? i mean i know its over 40 years old but it's one of the most popular video games of all time, even today!

  8. These kids suck at video games. I blame their parents. 🙂

  9. This game requires more dexterity & decision making skills than these kids possess.
Better to have them play with blocks & simpler toys than such an advanced electronic device.

  10. cod ius betterur cuz bettur grafix and keel striks

  11. Did anyone else notice how there is no refelection of the camera man or the camera in the display?

  12. Wouldn't consider it ancient, just retro.

  13. Have them practice, they need to get coordinated with the awesomely smooth analog controls, fuck the D-pad!

  14. That IS the one flaw with games that used paddles.  The paddles would break super easy.  Part of why we stopped seeing them post-crash.  I think a game like Pong would benefit from using trackballs, and they wouldn't go to crap quite as often.

  15. Isn't this the game that attacked India in Pixels?

  16. Hell, I'm in my early 40's and my first console was an Atari 2600 in 1980. I can't say I liked Pong even back then, although Video Olympics had a couple of fun variations.

  17. The paddle controllers are worn out on this machine. You could see the paddles jumping around on the screen.

  18. Redondo Beach fun factory lol
    They still have it lol

  19. Forget Pac-Man, Mario and Sonic—Pong will always be THE all-time classic.

  20. I only played Pong on the CD-ROM release of Atari classics. The paddle moved way too fast controlled by the keyboard, but with the mouse it was ok.

  21. Holy crap those kids have no reaction coordination. I was glued to an Atari and Nintendo for much of childhood…

  22. Hi, can I use this footage? Is there a way I can contact you?

  23. Today i purchase a ping o tronic home videogame console with this built in pong game. I love it. I want this arcade machine in my bedroom.

  24. "This was the Hit Or Miss back then, children."

"Or whatever that stupid af TikTok thing is.."

  25. As far as I remember, this is most likely similar to Ping Pong.
