So we had a brainwave. Could you build a state-of-the-art race simulator using the best gear from Fanatec and place it all inside a classic arcade machine? We picked up a broken Battle Gear 4 rig for just €200 and got to work. With no real plan and very much making it up as we went along, see us strip the machine down in part 1 of this 4 part series.

  1. I haven’t seen the vid but that roll cage tells me it’s battle gear 4 I love(d) that game

  2. Nice thumbnail click bait shitheads! 🙂 Less than 250? How? LOL Did you steal the Fanatec stuff?

  3. €200 Arcade machine, €5000 Fanatec gear, Plays Sega Rally 🙂 This is insane though guys – I'm a little jealous

  4. Why don't you measure the pedals and steering wheel in the 180 and set the game station the same. So it's like driving the drift car?

  5. Tell mike I'll give him 20 quid for the handbrake with a usb on it.

  6. yea i need to do this but with a sega rally machine! awesome idea

  7. This is one of the best ideas for a sim rig in a long time gg bois 😎

  8. What a cool idea. Love it. Lol lol help save on bashed bumpers and worn tyres. Fun for all the lads to have a bash at. No pun Cant wait to see how it turns out. ….

  9. Best idea ever… house party in Dave's House when its up and running 🤣🤣🤣

  10. Connoisseur Of Cars & Tig Ol Bitties says:

The screen should be way much bigger

  11. E-Stop button should be near your feet in case the wheel breaks both your wrists.

  12. This reminds me of the struggle when I built my E36 dashboard sim

  13. 懐かしいバトルギヤだ

  14. My friend has done this with a Saga Rally twin seat, its mad.

  15. Bit of a stretch calling fanatec the best in the world! Not bad for free though

  16. Damn. I remember this game. I use to play 3 all the time. Only played 4 a few times when I took a trip to the Philippines. Sweet set up.

  17. just a heads up: Battle Gear 4 isn't what you'd call 90s arcade, it's released around 2004 and the updated version (2006 called Battle Gear 4 Tuned) had an active server until mid 2019.
correct me if I'm wrong but that's about it.

  18. What’s Veore ???? 🤔…..😂

  19. Good damn that’s going to look mint best idea I’ve seen so far can’t wait to see what you do on next episode 👍👍👍

  20. The thumbnail says, Build for less than €250? You wouldn't get much from Fanatec for €250 lol.

  21. I used to work in the arcade industry doing repairs. Had flashbacks to the horrors of fixing those machines. The tech evolved so fast throughout the years it was a different setup in every machine. Those things are filled with obscure PC parts that only existed for a year or two before being discontinued and upgraded to the new version. If something odd went bad we would often have to just scrap the whole unit or replace all the components. Anyways, this is a way better use for these damned things

  22. Roughly what size is this would love to move all my driving rig bits onto an old arcade cab like you done. Looks amazing

  23. Hah I want you now bc I got the g920 wheel

  24. 3:25 that's not a bulb, that's an electron beam, being aimed at a phosphor layer with different colour (red, green, blue) pattern.

  25. My god. Best argument for "never give a monkey a gun" I've ever seen. You raped a classic arcade machine. Stick to the cars, fellas.
