  1. Its a shame really that millennials will grow up without going to play games in an arcade.

  2. Some of my faves from childhood are Defender, Pac-man, Yie Ar Kung Fu and Star Wars (sit down cabinet version)….I even remember Blackpool Fun House (before it burned down) had an original Space Invaders……yes I am that old…lol 😀

  3. I grew up in Blackpool so the arcades where a massive part of my life. My mum would go and play bingo on North pier and she would give me a pounds worth of 10ps to play the arcade machines (they were all 30p then lol). No matter where you was you could always hear Space Harriers cry of death not matter wherever you where in the arcade. Good times lol

  4. Spent most of my time playing Moonwalker (mj fan) simpsons was the first academachine i ever beat lol

  5. The first arcade that I remember getting nuts about was Double Dragon at a vacation farm hotel when I was around 5 years old. I remembering getting so addicted to it that my parents got really concerned about it! But later that year my father got me a brand new master system with came with Hang on and safari hunt on the memory, and for my surprise , a spare cartridge which was Double Dragon ! Gosh , I got really nuts that night and couldn't stop playing it! My parents said that I even got fever because I was so excited with that game 🙂 good memories

  6. Have you heard of Hyperspin? that is a cool option to install on a bartop as well. I have it on my pc only and it is awesome. But this one you have seems pretty good too.

  7. The first arcade machine I ever played was the huge 6 player x-men game at my local pizza place. eventually I will own 1 it is and monster takes a ton of space. I've probably spent about $300 in quarters back when I was a kid. Was so great to get 6 players on it at the same time.

  8. I'm having one built as we speak….but a full size! like you I have the same memories for being at holiday camps in great Yarmouth and being in the arcade room while the adults play bingo nextdoor. my cab is gonna be The Ninja Warriors themed!

  9. Favourite arcade memory – Playing a Turtles in Time cabinet when the coin mech was having issues resulting in free credits >>
3 other kids who I had never met started playing and we all finished it together .. turtle power

  10. Gemma Do you prefer new ps4 lara croft or the ps3/ps2/ps1 lara?

  11. Thats a lovely thing to have Gemma, really handy to have if you dont have the space in the house for a full size cab, you have some quality games on there, loads of Neo Geo goodness !!! i like it !!! Cheers for showing your bar top arcade machine, lovely stuff and hours of fun 🙂

  12. 645 arcade classics, damn I want that machine

  13. The finish of the bartop looks mint! Have you and Jess both played co-op on this? Seems like there are loads of awesome beat 'm ups and shooters on it for some fun co-op sessions. 🕹

  14. I am building an arcade machine at the moment. Unfortunately I don't have a history with any of these games. Played some just briefly. My memories are more with NES, SNES and so on.
What I am trying to say is that I can't wait to play new/old games.
I am sure I'll have some amazing discoveries.

  15. Hi, nice looking Bartop, hope u find time to play on it a bit more. Arcade games are where my 'Retro' heart is, had an Electrocoin Xenon machine for 23 years or so and been collecting PCBs since. Have over 150, yes they do take up some room, far more than your Bartop does! Have about 99% of the stuff I ever wanted, like you, just don't play 'em as much as I would like.First game I loved was Gauntlet in 1986 in an Arcade in sunny Rotherham, after that I was hooked and played many classics in there over 5 years or so. I used to visit Sheffield as well, mainly just to play in the Arcades, loved it! Best time was the yearly coach trip to Blackpool in the 80's and early 90's, was Arcade heaven, being able to go on stuff you could only read about in games mags at the time. Great memories!

  16. You don't look too thrilled in the thumbnail for this video…

Just wanted to say that your first video you made about this was the first time I'd heard of bartop arcades and it inspired me to look into them and I'm currently in the process of building my own! Don't really know what I'm doing, but I'm looking forward to hopefully having a working finished article that's as good as this.

  17. Strider, Robocop,Double Dragon,1,2 and 3 I could go on. Anyway great to find someone on here with the same love and appreciation of gaming that I have. The young one's have no idea.

  18. Could you tell me where you got it Gemma I can't find anyone who'll ship one. Thanks

  19. Genuine question: How many times have your cats made you have to start filming again? Haha! 😀

  20. Guess it's easier then collecting multiple game cabinets.

  21. Ilovethatbartoparcademachinegemmathatawsomeeveroneshouldgetoneatamazonrightgemmaheygemmayourthebest

  22. That running a Pandora PCB? Nice arcade bar top and good video. Subscribed.

  23. I miss the old console classics and arcade days

  24. You remember the Winners Don't Use Drugs logo? That's interesting, because those were only baked into USA versions of games. The European version of boards didn't have it.

    HMMMMMMMMMM

    HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  25. hi where did you get your bartop arcade?

  26. actually…pandora box have a bad emulation of the arcades…

  27. Hi I was just wondering where you bought the bartop from?,,it looks really well put together, and how much was it?,,thats if you dont mind me asking?,Thanks.

  28. She doesn't want to blow you…. That's a shame

  29. Looks great. I am building my own at the moment. No idea what im doing but learning it all from youtube. Im going for pandoras box 4 too and the final fight marquee 😊

  30. I'm doing a PC build. Is Pandoras box any good? I'm familiar with a Pi3, got one of those but these kinda interest me. Might get one of those arcade stick setups that has them in it just to see how she goes. Nice vid m8!

  31. I was old enough to see space Invaders born, but yes these games will always have a place in my life as they are all about game play and a golden eria.Iam sure that's why people now are developing remakes and new games again like it.

  32. got one myself , great vids just started my own channel dont expect to make any $$ but it's great to share and watch others videos awesome

  33. Late to the thread. SPY HUNTER SPY HUNTER SPY HUNTER SPY HUNTER

  34. Looking good. Thanks Gemma. What’s your twitter handle. I want to know more about these machines. Here’s me trying to fight with an Android Tv box with Retro Games. This looks Awesome.

  35. Hi Gemma, thanks for the video. Sorry if I missed this but did you mention where you bought this? I ask as I'm looking for something similar. Thanks

  36. Awesome those arcade cabinets looks amazing 👍

  37. Seulement 650 jeux c rien sa faut arrêter d'halluciner sur de la Pandora box …. Niveau choix c limite limite …..

  38. Very annoying that you refuse to give somone a straight answer where you purchased this from so others can also enjoy. Im 51 and trembled with excitement as a 10 year walking to the cafe to play the first space invaders with a pocketful of 10ps then came along pac man, galaxians, defender it just kept getting better. Consoles of today are great but they dont have that early nostalgia and original simple gaming magic that just worked. Do us and me a favour and tell me where you purchased this and stop the teasing. Thank you. Do the right thing – answer the bl**dy question! Where and whom please.
