Rolling Thunder (ローリングサンダー Rōringu Sandā) is a side-scrolling action game produced by Namco (now known as Bandai Namco Entertainment) originally released in as a coin-operated arcade game which ran on the Namco System 86 hardware. It was distributed internationally outside Japan by Atari Games. The player takes control of a secret agent who must rescue his female partner from a terrorist organization. Rolling Thunder was released for various computer platforms in 1987 and the Family Computer and Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989. The original arcade game has also been included in various classic game compilations as well.

  9. oh god I've been looking for this game for 30 years :O I've finally seen it in another video where they mentioned it for a second. I remember playing it as one of my very first arcade games in a bar when I was a kid!

  10. One of my favorite games Namco ever made I got Namco museum 50th anniversary for ps2 and I play it a lot but maboo gives me the creeps still to this day I wish they'd reboot this though for next gen I would buy it in a heartbeat

  12. Just read about Davy Gallon ko'ing former UFC fighter, Ross Pearson, with a "rolling thunder kick" and the first thing that came to my mind was this video game.

  14. DID THE GUY PLAYING THIS GAME CREATE IT??? HE RUNS THROUGH THIS GAME WITH NO MIS STEPS. I was 10 when this game was out I made it past level 1!! only 4 or 5 times total!! It's funny it's the predesssor of so many games just the left to right scroll with a jump and attack button .like RussianAttack but I think it was spelled "RUSH'N ATTACK , OBVIOUSLY SHINOBI IS SAME GAME WITH A FASTER PROCESSOR.

  27. 11:48 is the worst section of this game. This asshole just chugs grenades over stacks of barrels and it's impossible to get over

  28. I was 8 years old when this came out in the arcade and I've been racking my brain trying to remember the name for decade's and finally today after research I got it. This is taking me back to the good old days.😫
